Hope Bridges engages the community through continued creative experiences in an inclusive environment so that every person feels valued.
WHAT:
Our future goal is a performance venue in Wheatland County a place where all individuals have a sense of belonging; a place that embraces the belief in the power of caring relationships, inclusive principles and valued citizenship.
WHERE:
HOW:
Hope Bridges holds events that bring people together through the arts. To do this, we often partner with local arts groups and artists to make these events possible. We foster an environment that allows interaction through activity. For more information on upcoming activities see our events page.
WHY:
Hope Bridges is motivated by the universal human desire to “belong.” We know that for most people with disabilities, social isolation remains the norm. In our journey of creating Hope Bridges, we discovered that isolation exists for others as well. The elderly, immigrants to our community, and others perceived as being different by mainstream society experience a sense of isolation and so our mandate expanded.
